All Sport / Track Combo Camp

All Sports / Track Combo Camp — Coed $225

This combo camp will start the first half of the day with track. The BA boys' track staff will work with campers on proper running form for sprinters and distance runners. Campers will learn the necessary skills in all areas including hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put, and the pole vault.

The second half of the day will be all sports, a mixture of fun and skill training in a variety of sports and activities, including flag football, basketball, soccer, baseball, track, and more

All Things Cheer / Dance Camp Combo - $400

This combo camp is a combination of two camps, Dance S3 and All Things Cheer, giving parents the option to have an all-day camp. The day will start with Dance Camp at 9 AM - 12 PM, dancers will focus on ballet, jazz, hip hop, pom and tumbling as well as dance terminology, body placement and technique.

Cheer will follow dance camp, covering all aspects of cheerleading. Campers will learn cheers, jumps, tumbling, stunting, and dancing. They will also perform a complete routine at the end of camp.

All Things Cheer / Tiny Dancers

All Things Cheer / Tiny Dancer Camp Combo - $400

This combo camp is a combination of two camps, Tiny Dancer and All Things Cheer, giving parents the option to have an all-day camp. The day will start with Dance Camp at 9 AM - 12 PM, dancers will focus on ballet, jazz, hip hop, pom and tumbling as well as dance terminology, body placement and technique.   • 3 year olds are welcome to attend this camp but must be potty trained.

  • Campers will receive a camp t-shirt, a tutu and a different fun dance accessory each day

Music Production Camp

Music Production - $400

Are you interested in creating, producing, and recording music? Learn to record, mix, edit, and produce your own songs, ringtones, drum beats, digital music and instrumental tracks… then recording it to play as an MP3 or CD to share with the world. It can be done, and done well from your computer!

Mrs. Gross is a Berklee College of Music cum laude graduate with dual degrees in Music Production + Engineering, and Music Education and will show you everything you need to know for music production and engineering well from your laptop. Students will also learn how to write music using MIDI controllers, understand how and when to use drum machines and samples, learn to remix and create mash-ups of popular songs and learn how to create original instruments and sounds by exploring the science of sound including frequency, amplitude, waveforms, reverb, autotuned and pitch bend. This is an incredible music production opportunity, you don’t want to miss it! *Macintosh Apple Laptop required*

Music Songwriting Camp

Music Songwriting - $400

Are you an aspiring songwriter? Can you hear melodies or create catchy lyrics? Do you have a message, story, song, or rap that you want to write and record? Collaborate, create, and sharpen your songwriting skills this week, it's a great opportunity to work with other artists and songwriters, just like you!

Students will explore creating lyrics, picking a title, expressing emotions, determining song form, developing melody, chord progressions, rhythm, storytelling, musical genres & styles, "hooks," and more! Campers will prepare to record an MP3 of their very own songs by the end of the week. This is a great camp for any artist looking to write their first big hit, or their next. *Macintosh Apple Laptop required*

Performing Arts Camp

Performing Arts Drama and Speech Camp Combo— Coed $385

This camp is a combination of two camps, Drama and Speech. The first half the day will be focused on drama and the second half on speech. For drama, this camp offers a lively, interactive, non-competitive experience. Coming to camp guarantees you a role in a one-act show that will be cast on the first day of camp. There is no preparation necessary. For the speech portion of this camp, we will jump into the creative mindset through acting exercises and playing improvisation games as a group. We will have dedicated times for reading scripts so that those who are on the middle school speech team (and even those who want to be!) can find their performance piece for the year. This camp is a great way to build confidence in the performing arts!

Science Camp

Science Camp — $210

Campers will learn through exploration in this science camp. Daily field trips to places such as the Adventure Science Center and the Nashville Zoo, indoor and outdoor creative activities, hands-on inquiry experiments, and the utilization of team work will consume each day’s agenda. Campers will recycle trash into art, test water sources for safe drinking water, observe plant cells under microscopes, and much more. Join us this summer as we investigate! * Campers should bring a lunch, water bottle, and an afternoon snack each day. Some activities will be outdoors, so sunscreen and bug spray is encouraged.

Softball Camp

Softball — Girls $200

Softball all skills morning session will be centered around defensive fundamentals and situations. The morning sessions will have optional breakout sessions for pitchers and catchers. The afternoon sessions of camp will focus on hitting and bunting. We will have afternoon breakout sessions for sliding and base running. Each day will end with a softball game. We will use front toss and pitching machines, and will utilize our outside softball field and indoor batting cages. Please bring both cleats and shoes for outdoor/indoors each day. All campers will provide their own lunch.

VEX Robotics Camps

VEX Competition Robotics Camp - $850

This camp is designed for any beginner level student who wants to experience the excitement of robotics and competition! Attendees will start by building a VEX IQ robot, learn how to connect the control system, and explore computer programming in preparation for their first VEX Competition.

In this week-long camp, students explore and develop science, math, engineering and programming skills through a series of fast-paced and engaging team activities. Students will be tasked, under the guidance of the camp staff, to build, program, test and compete with a VEX IQ robot.

This camp is led by the Brentwood Academy robotics program, comprised of coaches and students who have made multiple VEX World Championship appearances and is the most awarded robotics program in the state. This camp is designed for students entering 4th through 8th grades.

A practice tournament will be held on Friday. At that time, parents and guardians are welcome to come in and watch their children compete and see their robots. A closing ceremony will be held Friday afternoon at the conclusion of the tournament.

The VEX IQ robot kit is included in the price of the camp and is yours to keep at the end of the week.

Lunch will be provided for this camp.
